According to the Social Security Administration, over half of Americans earn less than $30,000 a year. If that’s you, I have good news: you’re not alone.
Now, the bad news. Unless you’re still at home with Mom and Dad, chances are you’re broke or close to it. 30K a year isn’t much in most parts of the country.
You love cars, but most of the stuff you read assumes you have the cash for a car that starts in the 40K price range. You’re lucky if your car starts, period. I feel your pain.
This blog is for you.
I decided to create a blog for car nuts on a budget. Sure, the stuff we drive in real life may not be all that great (or not exist at all) but there’s nothing wrong with sound advice, reviews, and commentary directed at the Broke demographic.
Don’t worry: there will be some flights of fancy and some serious car porn every now and again.
For us, our cars mean the difference between employment and being out of work, between getting where we need to be and being stuck. They’re our economic and social lifeline.
Join me for the ride.
